Your photographer is great - he or she must be, or else why would you have chosen them? But when you want things done a certain way, you should make sure to do them yourself. In that vein, if you know you shots you want for your wedding photography, then give your photographer a list of shots you don't want to miss. You can even get more specific and show him examples of specific photos from other wedding you've seen that you like. Consider these shots for your list:
