The Wedding Reception is Your Beautiful Backdrop for Your Memories

The considerate bride and groom often keep the wedding and the reception at the same location. They want to celebrate with friends and family and not spend their time driving around in a car from place to place. The guest prefer not to also.

The Wedding Reception will depend on the theme of your wedding. Some couples are only interested in having the usual traditional wedding at a church with a small gathering of friends and family right after the ceremony. Other couples like to follow the customs of their own nationality and even though the activities may appear strange to those attending, it feels normal and comforting to the family involved in the rituals. Couples are free to discover a theme that is significant to each of them.

There has been a strong interest in outside wedding receptions in the past few years. Some like the calming feel of the water, others keep in mind the driving time and make arrangements for a ceremony at a nearby park gazebo or a sanctuary. Other great ideas are local historical sites or even an art gallery. If you have the ceremony outside, the reception can be outside as well. You will be able to invite everyone you like if it is outdoors.

If you prefer to have the wedding reception inside, you can narrow down your options by considering your guest list first. If you do not want to compromise on the guest list, you may need to settle on a less high end reception. If the number of people you both want to invite is rather small, then it will not matter so much, so pick what you really want. The day should be a medley of all the things the bride and the groom like. One way to provide each guest with a keepsake is to have items personalized with the wedding date and the name of the bride and groom.

If you are both paying for the wedding reception, do not forget to budget in a nice honeymoon. Consider it part of the wedding experience and chose a destination that you both will enjoy. Recently, some one came up with the clever idea of getting married and the honey moon in the same location. People seem to really like this because you can exchange your vows and and then enjoy the remainder of the time as an extended reception with your family and friends. Who doesn't like a longer party!

The theme of your wedding will also extend to the food you want to serve at the wedding reception. If it is going to be outside or near the water, easy to eat finger foods will be a smart choice. A series of cupcakes arranged to look like a wedding cake will be less messy and easier on the budget. You may decide to be married at sunrise on the beach and want to serve a breakfast buffet.

Small And Large Fresno Wedding Hall Options To Consider

Small And Large Fresno Wedding Hall Options To Consider

Weddings come in all sizes, shapes and forms depending on what the bride and groom prefer. While there are a number of factors that come into effect when selecting a wedding hall, you will want to consider how large of a wedding you desire. From there, you will be able to better judge what facility would be most appropriate.

To start, let's highlight some wedding hall options for a large wedding. Banquet halls are always ideal as they are equipped to handle medium to large parties. Typically the banquet manager will provide services to help arrange catering and decorations. There will generally already be a bar and dance floor on site and it can ultimately simplify the overall process.

Another excellent option to consider is a hotel ballroom. With varying styles available, it allows for everyone to be satisfied. On-site lodging is a huge perk to having the wedding at a hotel ballroom as out-of-town guests can typically receive discounted rates. In addition, some hotels offer wedding package deals that can help save some money.

The final large wedding hall to consider is a country club. While this may be the most expensive option available, it does provide a gorgeous setting and an unforgettable experience. Similar to a hotel, many do provide package deals; it just may be a bit pricier. Just make sure you check into the quality of the food and service as well as the overall reputation of the country club.

If you are looking for a smaller wedding, outdoor weddings are ideal. Whether it is at a national park, in the mountains, on a ranch or beach, there are numerous locations to consider. It allows you to select an ideal setting that is romantic, beautiful and comfortable. The one tricky aspect to outdoor weddings is the weather as there is no controlling whether or not it rains or is too windy or too hot.

The most obvious option for a wedding hall is at a place of worship, such as a church, synagogue, or mosque. A lot of people like this because of the sacred environment and the generous price tag. It can also eliminate the need to travel from the ceremony to the reception. Just know that you will typically need to bring your own decorations and food.

The list of options for where to have a wedding hall is literally endless. Knowing how many people will be attending can help with the process as it will drastically narrow the options down.

Choosing A Wedding Venue That Offers An All Inclusive Package

Select A Wedding Venue That Includes Everything, or at least most of what you need.

Many people are convinced that having a backyard wedding, or renting empty hall space is a great money saver.

When all is said and done however, the costs of rentals such as tables, chairs, wedding linens, dinnerware, etc. can really ad up.

The Real Money Savers??

Select a wedding venue that offers a location for both your ceremony, and your reception. Many locations do offer both ceremony locations, and reception locations, but sometimes you may have to ask if they do.

Also, many such venues will include all linens, tables, chairs, and dinnerware in their packaged rental fees.
It's worth asking a few questions, and you may get a much nicer location as a result. Remember if the venue is pretty to start with, you'll also save on decorations as well.
